At the top of the front staircase on the third floor, you’ll be be greeted by “Mack the Giant Ox” and photographs of Jim Avery’s famous oxen. From spinning wheels, cobblers’ tools and broom machines to ploughs, early washing machines and carpenters’ tools, you’ll find the Tool Room overflowing with our rural counties’ agricultural and domestic history!
