Wapping SchoolOne of Memorial Hall Museum’s most popular rooms is the first floor School Room with school girl art and maps created by 19th century Deerfield Academy students; natural history specimens from the original Deerfield Academy Museum; early copy books; and seating from a one-room schoolhouse in nearby Conway, Massachusetts—similar to those of Deerfield’s Wapping School and the many one-room schoolhouses dotting the New England countryside.
